Fire Stopping & Penetration Sealing

Fire stopping and penetration sealing
Penetration sealing system are critical element of building's Passive Fire Protection strategy. Penetrations occur in a buildings when pipes, cables, ducts, or otherwise pass through a building's walls, floors and ceilings.
Effective penetration sealing systems maximise the amount of time available for people to escape from a building.

Fire barriers
Fire barriers provide fire and acoustic barriers for both dry wall and masonry walls and floors. Fire barriers are cost effective penetration sealing systems providing up to 4 hours of heat and fire resistance.

Intumescent sealants
Intumescent sealants, also known as fire mastics, can be found in silicone, acrylic and graphite form. Intumescent sealant reinforce the fire resistance of walls, floors and door frames by sealing linear gap joint seals and glazing systems.

Pipe wraps and collars
Pipe wraps and collars help reinstate the fire protection of a wall or a floor that has been compromised by pipes.
Pipe wraps and collars expanding when exposed to heat and therefore crushing the pipe, preventing smoke and fire spreading through the pipes. Pipe wraps and collars can be fitted and adjusted to suit various sizes of pipes up to 200mm diameter.

Fire compound
Fire compound are gypsum-based system. Fire compound provides a flexible solution for reinstating fire performance in service openings through fire protected walls and floors.

Passive fire curtains
Fire curtain prevent the rapid spread of fire in concealed spaces with in a building's. Fire curtains can be fitted both vertically and horizontally and fixed to steel, wood and between soffit and ceiling.
